We build apps for the public. We build structure for businesses.
Lintel Holdings is a parent company with three practices: applications we design, publish and monetise ourselves, business management, and consulting. One is a product we own. Two are work we do for other people. All three carry weight.
The name
In building, a lintel is the beam that spans an opening and carries everything above it.
It does not draw attention to itself. It does not change shape under load. It simply holds — so that a doorway can be a doorway, and a window can let the light in.
That is the job. The app your customers use, the business your name is on — those are the parts meant to be seen. We are the part that makes the opening possible.
What we do
Three practices, one team.
They are separate disciplines, but they share a building and they talk to each other. That is most of the advantage.
Application Development
Consumer apps we design, build and release ourselves — published on the App Store, priced, supported and improved as businesses of their own.

The operational layer: process, systems, reporting and the daily running that owners rarely have the hours for and rarely enjoy.

Advice with our hands in it. Structure, systems and the decisions that are expensive to get wrong, worked through with people who have made them before.

Three commitments we hold to.
We ship to the public
Our apps go out to strangers who can rate them one star and ask for their money back. Carrying that ourselves, in the open, is what keeps the standard from drifting.
Small teams, direct access
You speak to the people doing the work. No account layer forwarding your questions to someone you are not allowed to meet.
We stay after launch
The interesting problems arrive once something is live and real people are using it. Handing over a zip file and disappearing is not delivery.
Something that needs steadying?
An operation that needs running, a decision you would rather not make alone, or a question about one of our apps. Tell us which.
